Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing a doctor who has been giving prescriptions of opioids to known drug addicts. Then citing the statistics of how many people are injured or killed by prescriptions every year. Contending that people need to take control of their own healthcare and cut doctors out of the picture.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a report out that states if more women globally would breast feed their babies over 800,000 lives could be saved and 13% of all deaths of children under five. The report analyzed 1300 studies that focused on the levels, trends and benefits of breast feeding. Finding that one third of respiratory infections and half of all diarrhea episodes in low and middle income countries could be avoided. While in high income countries breast feeding cuts the risk of sudden death syndrome cut by one third. The report found that as low and middle income countries became more westernized breast feeding began to decline.
